Short Quantum / Oklo

This was four short positions rolled into one overall theme. Quantum computing and nuclear stocks were some of the hottest names in the market - many doing almost no revenue, yet some reached market caps as high as $50 billion. Shorts were getting burned left and right trying to fade them on the way up. I executed short positions on IONQ, RGTI, and QBTS for the quantum side, and Oklo for nuclear.
I went short near the exact top of these stocks. At the time, it seemed insane - these were the highest-momentum names in the market and sentiment was overwhelmingly bullish. But I saw it in the technicals and in the behavior of retail investors: these stocks were rolling over. The exhaustion was there if you knew what to look for.
I knew they would crash hard, and they did. These stocks are now down roughly 70% from their peaks. While others were chasing the momentum or getting squeezed out of their shorts too early, I was able to time the top and profit from the move down. It was a matter of patience, pattern recognition, and trusting my read on the setup.
